About my Favicon

I had to create a favicon (short for favorite icon) for this website however I never worked on a logo for my photography work.

The first idea coming to my mind was to use Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom.

As the Lord of beginnings, he is also honoured at the start of rituals and ceremonies and he is worshipped before starting any good work.

He is also the son of Shiva, the Lord of Benares where I make most of my photography work and last, but not least, I always wear one around my neck given by my Indian "Ma-ji" many years ago.

So each time you will see a little orange Ganesh in your browser's address bar it means that you are on my site.

"Om Gum Ganapatayei Namah"
